It’s not too late to join! Weigh-ins tonight, Friday, January 11th from 3:00 p.m. - 6 p.m. at Ministry 2501 Building. Grab a friend or grab a co-worker and come on down!
Team Challenge #1:
It is time for the first Community Weight Race Challenge. We challenge your team to create a team sign and proudly display it for the community to see! Design a team sign displaying your team name and anything else your team feels appropriate for the Ministry Community Weight Race. When it is complete, take a team photo with your sign and post it to our Facebook page or send it to Traci (firstname.lastname@example.org) for 10 challenge completion points.
Tuesday’s Presentation: Getting Ready to Lose Weight
Celine McNeils-Kline, Ph.D., is a professor at the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point in the Health Promotion and Wellness field. At the presentation you will learn how to set goals relating to your weight loss journey. Celine will discuss the importance of compassion when setting a goal, whether it is weight loss related or not. Setting a specific, measurable, attainable, realistic, and timely goal will lead to a better chance of success. To learn more about setting goals, join us January 15 from 5:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m. at the Ministry 2501 building.

- 5 p.m. - 6 p.m. Zumba (beginner to advanced).
- 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. Yoga (beginner to advanced): This is a special course designed for the MCWR. It is limited to (15) people and it is a cutting edge approach to weight loss.
- 6 p.m. - 7 p.m. Goal setting (three week workshop): This is a follow up from Dr. Kline’s presentation. It will work on willpower instinct and daring greatly.
