Reviews

Smart Apps for Smart Choices review: This week’s nutrition class was held at our local Farmshed, and it focused its discussion on ‘Smart Apps for Smart Choices.’ Why not get the most out of your smart phone and use it to help you monitor your progress and encourage you to keep going to meet your goal! Materials were handed out that focused on the key aspects of various smart phone apps, which included Myfitnesspal, Fooducate, Restaurant Nutrition, Weight Watchers, Ziplist, Endomondo, Instant Heart Rate, Easy Pedometer Apps, Map My Walk, C25K-5K Trainer, Waterlogged, and My Quit Smoking Coach. Overall, this was a good opportunity for the participants to get out and learn something new about health promotion!
