Saint Clare's Hospital in Weston Welcomes Emergency Department Physician

Ministry Health Care is pleased to welcome Etta Lovitt, MD, to the staff of the Emergency Services Department of Saint Clare’s Hospital in Weston.

Dr. Lovitt joins a specially trained team of emergency medicine physicians, nurses, paramedics and support staff who provide 24-hour access to critical care for patients requiring treatment from bumps and bruises to major trauma.

She earned her undergraduate, masters and medical degree’s at Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia and a Pathology Residency at The University of Alabama Hospitals, Birmingham.

“Working in the emergency department provides a unique opportunity to put the patient first and build trust as people come to us in a significant time of need on short notice,” said Dr. Lovitt. “They depend on us to work with them to resolve their issue quickly and efficiently.”

Board certified in Emergency Medicine, Dr. Lovitt has more than 25-years of experience working in emergency departments at Baptist Medical Center, Fort Payne and Center, Alabama; Huntsville Hospital, Huntsville Alabama and Methodist Medical Center, Oakridge, Tennessee. Since 2005, Dr. Lovitt has been working at a trio of Hospital’s in the heart of Wisconsin, including Riverview Hospital, Wisconsin Rapids; Riverside Hospital, Waupaca and Memorial Health Center, Medford.

Dr. Lovitt is a member of the American Medical Association, Wisconsin Medical Society and American Academy of Physicians Specialists.
