Foundation of Ministry Saint Clare’s Hospital Launches “Angels Among Us” Campaign

The Foundation of Ministry Saint Clare’s Hospital in Weston is embarking on a new holiday tradition with the launch of “Angels Among Us.”

Through a Seasonal Lighting Display and Taste of the Town event at several area restaurants, Angels Among us will provide much needed support to Foundation programs that assist patients in need at time of discharge, victims of abuse, infants and children, and student programs that encourage careers in health care.

The campaign will formally kick-off on Friday, December 9, with the Angels Among Us Illumination Ceremony from 5-8 p.m. in the Bread Basket Atrium at Ministry Saint Clare’s Hospital. This fun-filled family event will feature visits and photos with Santa, hot chocolate, cookies, children’s crafts, music from area schools and the opportunity to purchase limited-edition Angels of Gratitude ornaments.

The Illumination Event will also feature a special lighting ceremony of a new Holiday lighting display set to music at 6 p.m. Located near the Ministry Saint Clare’s main entrance between parking lots 3 and 4, the Angels Among Us display will light up the campus each evening from 6 – 9 p.m. through January 3.

From December 12-16, Taste of the Town will provide feature menu items at Noodles and Company, City Grill, Papa Brats, Basil and Red Eye Brewing Company with a portion of the proceeds benefitting the Angels Among Us campaign.

“We all benefit from angels in our lives,” said Sherri Waid, director of Volunteer Services at Ministry Saint Clare’s and member of the Angels Among Us Planning Committee. “It is in this spirit that we hope the community will wrap their arms around this project with comfort and joy to support our Foundation and its’ programs to support the hospital.”
