The Foundation of Ministry Saint Clare’s Hospital in Weston recently donated $10,000 to support breast cancer research and support programs at Marshfield Clinic.
The donation will be spilt equally between the Marshfield Clinic Research Foundation and breast cancer education and support programs conducted in the Weston andWausau communities.
“Our colleagues at Marshfield Clinic have long been a leader in oncology research in our area and we are happy to continue to support their efforts,” said Ministry Saint Clare’s President Mary Krueger. “The impact of Dr. Onitilo’s research in our community is significant and most worthy of our support.
Joining members of the Foundation of Ministry Saint Clare’s Hospital Board to accept the funds were Marshfield Clinic Oncology/Hematology Department Chair and Eastern Division Assistant Director for Clinical Research, Adedayo Onitilo M.D., Marshfield Clinic Weston and Wausau Center Breast Care Coordinator Amanda Borreen, R.N. and Regional Development Officer Ann Lucas.
