Registrations are now being accepted for the 4th Annual Kolten Care’s Golf Outing to be held at Indianhead Golf Course in Mosinee on Saturday, August 24.
The event is hosted by 12-year old Kolten Craft and his family and benefits the Compassionate Care Fund of the Foundation of Ministry Saint Clare’s Hospital.
In its first three years, Kolten Care’s has raised more than $16,000 and provides much needed support for the Compassionate Care Fund which assists patients with food, transportation and medication needs they may have when they leave the hospital.
Kolten has been well recognized for his philanthropic efforts, most recently he was a recipient of the American Red Cross Real Hero Award.
“We started this event because I wanted to help those people who could not afford to buy their medications or pay for transportation home,” said Kraft. “Support for the first three years has been amazing and my goal this year is to raise $10,000.”
The event begins with registration at 2 p.m. and a shotgun start at 3 p.m. Cost is $160.00 for a 4-person team and includes 9-holes of golf with a cart. A Dinner and awards ceremony will follow the event which also will feature numerous prizes and raffles.
