Matt Ruppert has been named the new director of the Foundation of Saint Clare’s Hospital.
In collaboration with Ministry Health Care’s Saint Clare’s Hospital, the Foundation of Saint Clare’s Hospital identifies needs and through philanthropy, sponsors programs and services to support the hospital and community organizations that shape the quality and availability of health care in an effort to enhance the health and well-being of all people in Weston and the surrounding communities.
Ruppert will transition into his new role after serving as Administrative Services Manger at Saint Clare’s Hospital since 2004. In September, Ruppert lead the launch of the first ever Give One campaign for Ministry Health Care employees in the Weston/Wausau area. This joint campaign is designed to support the Foundation’s Compassionate Care Fund and United Way of Marathon County.
“Matt is well-suited for this new role as he has played an integral role in the start-up and development of Saint Clare’s Hospital,” said Saint Clare’s President Mary Krueger. “We look forward to his energy and enthusiasm playing a vital role in charting the course for the important work of our Foundation in our community.”
Ruppert earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Cardinal Stritch University, Milwaukee. In addition, he recently completed the University of Wisconsin – School of Business, Association for Healthcare Philanthropy – Fundamentals of Resource Development program.“This is an exciting personal and professional opportunity,” said Ruppert. “The needs of people attempting to navigate the health care system have never been greater and the Foundation of Saint Clare’s Hospital will play a significant role in helping these people and our community.” Ruppert and his wife Melisa live in Kronenwetter.
