Ministry Health Care is pleased to welcome Michael Clark, M.D., to the staff of the Emergency Services Department of Saint Clare’s Hospital in Weston.
Clark joins a specially trained team of emergency medicine physicians, nurses, paramedics and support staff who provide 24-hour access to critical care for patients requiring treatment from bumps and bruises to major trauma.
After completing a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science from Marquette University, Clark earned his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin, Milwaukee. He recently completed his residency in the Department of Emergency Medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center, Minneapolis.
Clark is a member of the American College of Emergency Physicians, Air Medical Physician Association and Society of Academic Emergency Medicine.
“I believe that the emergency department represents the intersection of the hospital, clinics, the community and public health,” noted Clark. “We serve as the great equalizer as we see anyone at anytime for any ailment.”
In his spare time, Clark enjoys the outdoors, especially camping, hiking and biking. He has also been active in Boy Scouts of American, Habitat for Humanity and serves as a medical director for Special Olympics - Wisconsin.
