Weston Regional Medical Center Begins Parking Lot Replacement Project
A significant project to replace the parking lots of the Weston Regional Medical Center is currently underway.
This project is to repair certain defects in the current parking lot surface that became apparent after initial construction. Funding for the repairs was made possible as a result of a collaborated arrangement with the contractor, and the repairs will be completed in phases to minimize inconvenience to patients and visitors.
Phase one of the project started today with Staff Parking Lot #7 located on the Northeast Corner of the campus adjacent to Marshfield Clinic Weston Center.
During this phase, the Village of Weston has granted temporary permission for staff to park on the outer lane of Ministry Parkway and Cranberry Boulevard. Temporary signage will indicate where this parking is permitted. In addition the Outpatient Services Lot #2 is designated for Patient and Visitor Parking only for the duration of the project.
As the project moves to public areas of the campus, signage and security staff will be in place to direct patients and visitors to temporary parking locations as each lot is replaced. Each phase is expected to last about one week weather permitting. The entire project is scheduled to be completed by mid-September.
“We realize this project will impact those visiting our campus and apologize for the inconvenience,” said Rachel Yaron, Vice President of Operations, Ministry Saint Clare’s Hospital “We will continue to communicate information on this project to our patients, visitors and staff along with details on alternate parking as we move through each phase.”
