Weston Regional Medical Center Parking Lot Replacement Project Enters Phase Two
A significant project to replace the parking lots of the Weston Regional Medical Center is currently underway.
This project is to repair certain defects in the current parking lot surface that became apparent after initial construction. Funding for the repairs was made possible as a result of a collaborated arrangement with the contractor, and the repairs will be completed in phases to minimize inconvenience to patients and visitors.
After completing work on staff parking last week, Phase Two moves to Lot #1 which serves Marshfield Clinic Weston Center. Marshfield Clinic Weston Center patients and visitors are being redirected to the Outpatient Services Lot #2 for access to the building for the duration of this phase of the project.
Visitors to the campus should be aware that the Village of Weston has granted temporary permission for staff to park on the outer lane of Ministry Parkway, Birch Street and Cranberry Boulevard. Temporary signage indicates where this parking is permitted.
Signage and when necessary staff will be in place to direct patients and visitors to temporary parking locations as each lot is replaced. Additional volunteers and signage will assist with way finding once patients and visitors have reached the building.
The latest information on the project is available on the Ministry Saint Clare’s Hospital Web Site at: http://ministryhealth.org/SCH/home.nws
Weather permitting; the project is scheduled to be completed by mid-September.
