Volunteers of Ministry Sacred Heart Hospital to host 3rd Annual Plant Sale

(TOMAHAWK, WI) –Spring is in the air and time to think about gardening! The Ministry Sacred Heart Hospital Volunteers are offering flowering and green plants for sale. Proceeds benefit the scholarships awarded to graduating Tomahawk high school students who have volunteered in our community.

For sale this year are five of the most popular colors of geraniums, New Guinea impatiens in pink, red and white, dragon-wing begonias in red and pink, Calibrachoa (a mini-petunia in dark pink, purple and yellow), Bacopa (trailing white flower), Trailing Iboza, Sprengeri (cascading Asparagus Fern, and Dracaena (spike). Prices are $3.50 for any of these high quality 4” potted plants. Herbs for sale include rosemary, sage, cilantro, thyme, parsley and basil. A limited supply of additional above-mentioned plants can be purchased on day of pickup.

Order forms are available by calling 715.453.7770, by emailing sue.cronick@ministryhealth.org, or can be picked up at the greeter’s desk inside Ministry Sacred Heart Hospital. Orders are due with payment by Monday, May 5. Plant pick up is Tuesday, May 20 at Ministry Sacred Heart Hospital’s maintenance garage at 401 W. Mohawk Drive, Tomahawk, between the hours of 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
