In a recent analysis of Leapfrog-reported data, Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital, Marshfield, had the highest composite quality results of all Wisconsin hospitals on the Leapfrog measures.

Most Wired is an award given annually to the nation's top tech hospitals, those which embrace initiatives such as computerized provider order entry (CPOE). The 100 "Most Wired" hospitals list is compiled in accordance with the 2005 Most Wired Survey and Benchmarking Study, released by Hospitals & Health Networks magazine, the journal of the American Hospital Association. The list identifies hospitals and health systems that have made significant investments in health information technology, most notably to address quality and safety, assist physicians with orders and conduct clinical activities. According to an outcomes analysis conducted for the magazine by Solucient, the Most Wired hospitals have, on average, risk-adjusted mortality rates that are 7.2 percent lowerthan other hospitals. Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital has received the Most Wired distinction for five of the last six years, outperforming all other Wisconsin hospitals on this measure.

TBS is an Information Technology consulting firm that analyzes publicly available data from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). In its recent analysis (August, 2005), Total Benchmark Solutions identified Ministry Saint Joseph's Hospital in Marshfield as one of three Wisconsin hospitals ranked in the top 100 performers among 6,000 facilities nationwide. The other Wisconsin hospitals so recognized were St. Elizabeth's Hospital (Affinity Health Care) in Appleton, and Myrtle Wirth Medical Center in Menomonie ? To determine its top 100 hospitals, Total Benchmark Solutions looked at each of 17 CMS measures reported in three care areas — Heart Attack, Heart Failure and Pneumonia.
