Ho-Chunk Gaming to Host Poker Tournament and Silent Auction to benefit the Foundation of Saint Joseph’s Hospital
















On Saturday, September 13, Ho-Chunk Gaming will host its 4th annual Pulse Pounding Poker Tournament in Nekoosa. A portion of the proceeds from the tournament will benefit Heart Services at the Foundation of Saint Joseph’s Hospital. The poker tournament is in memory of Kevin Abbott, a former dealer at Ho-Chunk Gaming Nekoosa’s Casino.

Some of the celebrity players participating in the tournament include former Packer Derrek Mayes, TV-9 anchor Nate Barrett, poker professional Chad Holloway, DJ Panama Jack and more! A silent auction featuring exciting items and baskets will be displayed throughout the tournament and open for the public to bid on.

Registration will be held from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. with tournament play beginning at 11:15 a.m. on Saturday. On Sunday, September 14, check-in begins at 10 a.m. The tournament will be played until winners are determined.

The one time buy-in will be $300 with an entry fee of $30. Players may pre-register at the Reward’s Club Booth or call 715.886.4560, ext. 8319.
