“Feng Shui: Creating Your Home for Health, Abundance and Serenity,” is the topic of the next WellnessWorks Living Well speaker series sponsored by Saint Joseph’s Hospital.

The event will be Monday, August 31 in the Mother Frances Streitel Conference Center of the hospital. Registration and refreshments will be from 5:30-6 p.m. with the presentation from 6-7 p.m.

Eileen Kelz, master teacher of Feng Shui, will explore the ancient practice of feng shui, the art of placement and how it applies to contemporary times. Those attending will learn:

• how to identify and use nature’s elements to enhance the home
• color psychology and why it’s not a good idea to paint your bedroom red
• some furniture placement basics and how to sleep better.
