For the thirteenth year, The Lure Bar & Grill in Nekoosa will be hosting a Polar Bear Jump to benefit Children’s Miracle Network (CMN). Since the first jumper dove into the freezing waters of Lake Petenwell on January 1, 1998, participants have raised over $100,000 to help sick in injured children in Wood, Adams, Portage and 14 other counties right here in north central Wisconsin.
So, plan to kick-off your new year at 1 p.m. on January 1, in the freezing waters of Lake Petenwell, while trying your chances at winning prizes like a Wisconsin Dells Vacation, Winter Adventure Package and Cool Moves Package. Participants must raise $25 or more and those raising $100 or more through advanced pledges will receive a CMN beach towel and t-shirt. Hot tubs on site will be provided by The Pool People. There will be food, fun and raffles.
For more information or to register, call The Lure Bar & Grill at 715.325.6555 or the CMN office at 800.428.5000 or 715.387.9965. Registration forms are also available at www.cmnwi.org.
