“Stroke: risk factors, symptoms, prevention measures and recovery,” will be the topic of the next educational session of FORUM 55+, a membership program for those 55 and older sponsored by Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield.
The session will be at 9 a.m. Wednesday, January 20 in the Saint Joseph’s Conference Room at the Hospital. Presenter will be Shana Bohman, CTRS, Recreational Therapy, Saint Joseph’s Hospital. Saint Joseph’s Hospital has now also become certified as a Primary Stroke Center, the only one in central and northern Wisconsin.
Blood pressure screenings and refreshments will be available at 8:30 a.m. Guests are welcome to the educational sessions.
The session is combined with the Men’s and Women’s Breakfast groups of FORUM 55+. The Conference Room is located on the first floor of the Hospital, with entrance from the main lobby. Directional signs will be posted.
