Ministry Health Care Mission Statement

Our mission as a Catholic health care system is to further the healing ministry of Jesus by continually improving the health and well being of all people, especially the poor, in the communities we serve.

Our Promise

We earn trust by working together as One Ministry to keep PATIENTS FIRST in everything we do.

Motivated by our Mission, Values and Our Promise, Saint Michael’s Foundation will provide funding to projects that improve the patient’s experience at Ministry Saint Michael’s Hospital.

The following are some of the key areas that will be considered for funding:

• Facility and/or equipment upgrades within Ministry Saint Michael’s Hospital and/or Ministry Medical Group
• Educational programs and support services focused on management of chronic diseases
• Initiatives that create a positive experience for our patients
• Educational and support services that promote healthy lifestyles and chronic disease prevention
• Projects that positively impacts the health care provided by Ministry Saint Michael’s Hospital and/or Ministry Medical Group.

We do not fund:

• Contributions to annual fund drives, endowment funds, or capital campaigns for agencies outside Ministry Health Care
• Financial support to individuals

Each funding request will be reviewed by the Saint Michael’s Foundation Allocations Committee and ratified by the Saint Michael’s Foundation Board of Directors. All funding requests are due two weeks prior to the Allocations Committee meeting.
