Local breast cancer awareness month events raise over $19,000

Ministry Health Care, Portage County Public Health Department, Portage County Emergency Medical Services, along with the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, in collaboration with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS), are offering intensive training, increased screening, and following CDC guidelines for Ebola.

Saint Michael’s Foundation 2014 Gala for Giving Raises Over $100K for Greatest Need Fund

(Stevens Point, WI) – The 25th Anniversary Gala for Giving celebrated its past and its future on November 1 at SentryWorld’s Grand Hall. Contributions from donors, event sponsors and over 170 attendees totaled more than $112,000, a record amount in the Gala’s 25-year history.

Circle of Hope Bracelet sale

(Stevens Point, WI) –Circle of Hope Bracelet sale to take place on November 18 & 19 in the Archangel Café at Ministry Saint Michael’s Hospital from 11 am – 1pm. Proceeds go to the Circle of Hope Fund at Saint Michael’s Foundation. The Circle of Hope Fund aims to enhance quality of life and provide education and support for those living with and affected by cancer.

Wunrow children honor family affected by cancer

The Oncology Fund supports a variety of oncology-related programs and services for patients served at the Stevens Point Cancer Center: A partnership between Marshfield Clinic and Ministry Health Care. The Wunrow children have honored their family members affected by cancer by raising funds to benefit the Oncology Fund at Saint Michael’s Foundation for four out of the last six years. This year, Bailey and Benjamin enlisted even more of their friends to assist in making original crafts to sell and staff the booth at Art in the Park.

Founders gather to celebrate Saint Michael’s Foundation 25th anniversary

On September 24, 2014 original founders, current donors, past and present board members and community members gathered to celebrate the lives that have been impacted by Saint Michael’s Foundation at their 25th anniversary founders’ event held at Sentry World’s Premiere Grand Hall. The event was marked by the unveiling of the Foundation’s 25th Anniversary Stories in Photography exhibit by John Hartman – Contemporary Photography.

SPASH Diggin’ the Cause Game Supports Breast Cancer Patients
