Become a Hospice volunteer: training now offered
(Stevens Point, WI) – Ministry Hospice helps individuals dying of terminal illnesses live each day to the fullest, pain-free, with dignity and peace. Trained hospice volunteers are important members of the Ministry Hospice Care Team.
Be a part of a powerful journey by becoming a hospice volunteer. Training held every Tuesday in November from 1-5 pm at Ministry Home Care, 2501 Main Street, Stevens Point.
The hospice team consists of many professionals—nurses, aides, social workers, therapists, chaplains, bereavement coordinators, and the medical director, as well as specially-trained volunteers, who all work together to support individuals and their families during their last months of life.
