Hospital Receives CAP Services Awards
Saint Michael’s Hospital received the CAP Services Corporate Citizen Award at the 2009 CAP Services awards banquet in May.
CAP’s Corporate Citizen Award recognizes an outstanding company or business that has played a vital role in CAP’s efforts for the community.
“Saint Michael’s Hospital has a proven track record of being innovative and willing to create new opportunities for those in our community,” stated Mary Patoka, President & CEO, CAP Services, Inc. “We’re happy to present this award to them.”
Saint Michael’s Hospital is a key partner along with CAP Services and Delta Dental in establishing Ministry Dental Center, was an early supporter of efforts on behalf of the Hmong community and the Family Crisis Center and also supported a proposal by CAP Services to test the concept of mental health navigation – a pilot program that is geared toward providing assistance those in need of navigating through the health care system.
Saint Michael’s Hospital was also the recipient of the Susan Levy Award recognizing long term donor support for CAP Services.
