Ministry Health Care to Build New Facility in Stevens Point
Ministry Health Care has announced plans to build a new Ministry Medical Group primary care clinic in Stevens Point at the intersection of McDill and Hoover avenues on the south east side of the city. The new facility will provide improved access to care and convenience for Stevens Point area residents. Current Ministry Medical Group facilities in Stevens Point have reached capacity and this new site allows the organization to expand services to the community.
Ministry’s commitment to bringing compassionate health care to families in Stevens Point goes back nearly 100 years when the Sisters of the Sorrowful Mother brought the first hospital to the community. Ministry Medical Group traces its roots back over 75 years to pioneer physicians in the community.
Ministry’s personalized approach to patient care will be enhanced by the design and function of the new 14,700 square foot facility which will provide primary care and related ancillary and support services. Construction will begin in the spring and the facility is expected to be ready for occupancy by February 2013.
