Saint Michael’s Foundation announces successful fundraising year
(Stevens Point, WI) – A twenty five year anniversary isn’t the only thing Saint Michael’s Foundation is celebrating this year. At the close of their 2014 fiscal year, Saint Michael’s Foundation surpassed a $480,000 fundraising goal with gifts totaling over $503,000.
A 30% increase from 2012 fundraising efforts, Saint Michael’s Foundation continues to grow in gifts received to help support patients cared for at Ministry Saint Michael’s Hospital and Ministry Medical Group.
“Through the generous support of our donors and the vision and advocacy of our Board of Directors - we surpassed our annual fundraising goal,” stated Angie Heuck, Saint Michael’s Foundation Director. “On behalf of the patients who felt the impact of these gifts, we are extremely grateful. Saint Michael’s Foundation will continue to work hard every day to stay focused on building a stronger, healthier community by connecting donors who have that same vision.”
Part of that focus is successfully receiving grant funding to support needed services and programs. Recently, Saint Michael’s Foundation staff announced receiving two grants, totaling over $15,000. This funding will benefit health-related programs in Central Wisconsin.
