An informational meeting on Bariatric Surgery will be held at Saint Mary’s Hospital, 2251 North Shore Drive in Rhinelander on Friday, November 13 at 2 p.m. in the lower level conference room 1.

Dr. Selwyn from Ministry Medical Group / Saint Michael’s Hospital, Stevens Point, is fellowship trained in advanced laparoscopic surgery and has performed over 700 bariatric surgeries.  This informational session will review what the program entails and the types of bariatric surgery including laparoscopic adjustable gastric band and gastric bypass.  Time will be available for questions.
