Ministry Health Care is pleased to welcome Cathy Fletcher, Registered Nurse (RN) to Saint Mary’s Hospital as the new Emergency Department/Urgent Care Manager. Saint Mary’s Hospital is located at 2251 North Shore Drive in Rhinelander.
Fletcher comes to Saint Mary’s Hospital with 36 years of nursing experience. Most recently she was employed by Gunderson Lutheran in La Crosse were she was a RN in the Outpatient/PACU center. Prior to Gunderson Lutheran, Fletcher managed multiple Emergency rooms, a 17-bed Trauma operating room, was Director of Nursing in a rural hospital and was the Team Leader for a Cardio/Thoracic surgical team. Her areas of special interest include care of trama patients as well as work in disaster planning.
Fletcher is active in the Army Reserves serving currently in a Forward Surgical Medical Detachment Unit out of Madison, Wisconsin. Fletcher holds certifications in BLS, ACLS, TNCC, ENPC, National Registered EMT-B and Army Combat Medic. She is a member of Emergency Nurses Association.
In her spare time, Fletcher likes spending time with family, participating in all types of sports, reading and hanging out with her seven dogs.
