The James Beck Cancer Center (JBCC) is hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony for the TrueBeam Accelerator. JBCC Radiation Oncology Manager, Kim Hetland, will be available for media interviews.

The James Beck Cancer Center (JBCC) in Rhinelander is hosting a community open house to introduce the public to its new TrueBeam Linear Accelerator, the latest technology in cancer care, on Wednesday, March 12, from 5 - 7 p.m. Visitors will be able to tour the cancer center, meet our expert staff, and learn about cancer screening and prevention. A special viewing of the TrueBeam Linear Accelerator will be available. The ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 3:15 p.m. during the JBCC internal celebration. Ministry Health Care is hosting an internal celebration from 3 – 5 p.m.

The TrueBeam Linear Accelerator delivers more powerful cancer treatments with pinpoint accuracy and precision, and opens the door to new possibilities for the treatment of lung, breast, prostate, head and neck, as well as other cancers that are treatable with radiotherapy.
