Saint Mary’s Hospital Foundation to Host Fundraiser

(RHINELANDER, WI) – The Saint Mary’s Hospital Foundation is hosting its annual Odyssey of World Cuisine, Saturday, October 5, beginning at 6 p.m. Guests will enjoy Polynesian cuisine, and Hawaiian casual attire is encouraged. Tickets are $50 each and include all food and beverages, with sales from each ticket benefitting the Saint Mary’s Hospital Foundation. A raffle and live auction for fantastic prizes will be featured.

“This year, our luau theme highlights island culture as we are offering a taste of Polynesian cuisine,” said Ryan Hetland, Saint Mary’s Foundation chair. “Bob and Judy Thoms have always done a terrific job hosting this event.”

The auction items include a stay in a Fort Myers Beach condominium, a Green Bay area cabin retreat, a pontoon cruise on Lake Nokomis, a gourmet dinner, front row tickets to the Packers game against the Bears at Soldier Field, on the Green Bay sideline, and more.

Complete instructions and directions to the host home will be provided upon ticket purchase. Proceeds from the event benefit Saint Mary’s Hospital Foundation. The Foundation, a health care advocate for the hospital and our communities, sponsors programs and services which enhance the health status of all people in the service area through voluntary action for the common good. Financial support has been directed for the James Beck Cancer Center, the annual free community Health Fair in Rhinelander, hospital equipment and other health/wellness initiatives that benefit people served by Ministry Saint Mary’s Hospital.
