Saint Mary’s Hospital Volunteers are offering six, $2,000 scholarships to encourage pursuit of a career in health care. One scholarship will be awarded to a 2010 Rhinelander High School graduate, one to a Nicolet Area Technical College student. Four scholarships are dedicated to staff members of Saint Mary’s Hospital/MMG-Rhinelander/Ministry Home Care-Rhinelander or their spouse or dependant child. Preference will be given to applicants with a commitment to the Rhinelander area.
Scholarship funds are raised primarily through the sale of items in the Hospital Gift Shop that is operated by the hospital volunteers. One-hundred percent of the proceeds raised through the gift shop are donated to support various local health and wellness initiatives.
Interested Rhinelander High School students should contact the Guidance Office. Nicolet students can find information through the Financial Aide office at the college.
