Common Questions:
Q: Do I have to use your facility as my collection site?
A: No. We can set-up a collection site that is convenient to your company's location. We have a wide variety of collection sites across the United States. If we do not have a site in your location, we will help find and set-up a qualified collection site.

Q: What is an MRO, and what is their role?
A: An MRO (Medical Review Officer) is a licensed physician that has knowledge about and clinical experience in controlled substances. They must have detailed knowledge of alternative medical explanations for laboratory confirmed drug test results. They are knowledgeable about issues relating to adulterated and substituted specimens, as well as the possible medical causes of specimens having a invalid result.
The MRO is an independent and impartial "gatekeeper" and advocate for the accuracy and integrity of the drug testing process. They determine whether there is a legitimate medical explanation for the laboratory confirmed positive, adulterated, substituted, and/or invalid drug test result, and ensure a timely flow of result reporting. They provide a quality assurance review of the drug testing process and protect the confidentiality of the drug testing information.
