Safe Sitter® is a medically accurate, competency-based babysitting
preparation course designed for 11 to 13-year-olds.
Injuries are the leading cause of death in children up to age 5, so today’s babysitters need to know more than just the basics of child care.
Ministry Saint Clare’s one day Safe Sitter program will discuss how babysitting is a business and what your child will need to do to be safe and successful babysitters. Included in the class are accepting the jobs that are right for you, child care essentials, infant and child choking rescue, first-aid, behavior management and safety.
Safe Sitter will be offered from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
at Ministry Saint Clare’s Hospital in Weston on the following dates:
Friday, January 24
Monday, February 17
Monday, March 31
