Saint Joseph's Hospital Conference Rooms
This two and a half hour class is offered quarterly for expectant parents to learn and practice the breathing, relaxation, and coping skills needed to help you throughout your labor and birth experience. Whether it is your first baby or you are in need of some “refresher” information, this class is designed to teach you how to breathe and use different positions in order to help make your birth experience a positive one.
Each couple is asked to bring two pillows and a small blanket. You may also want to bring your own drink such as water. It is recommended that this class be taken in the third trimester of pregnancy. Pre-registration is required and class size is limited. Register online or call 715.387.7011.
IF YOU HAVE ALREADY TAKEN THE CHILDBIRTH EDUCATION CLASS YOU WILL NOT NEED TO SIGN UP FOR THIS CLASS BECAUSE LABOR COPING WAS COVERED IN THE CHILDBIRTH EDUCATION CLASS.
