Maria C. Gonzalez-Cerra, MD, FAAP, specializes in pediatrics and adolescent health care with emphasis on health education and preventive services/public health, breastfeeding support/education and behavioral pediatric issues within the context of child development.
Dr. Gonzalez-Cerra received her medical degree from the University of Florida-Miami School of Medicine in 1995, followed by a pediatric residency at the University of Miami-Jackson Memorial Hospital in 1998. She is board certified in general pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics.
Dr. Gonzalez-Cerra and her husband, Shishir Sheth, MD, have three children. As a family, they enjoy reading, listening to music, dancing, and outdoor sports including snowshoeing, skiing, camping and hiking.
