Daniel Kraeger, DO, is a sports medicine specialist and is the Director of Ministry Sports Medicine. He practices sports medicine and non-surgical orthopedics. He focuses on teaching patients on how to rehabilitate their current injury and how to prevent further problems.
As an ImPACT CIC credentialed expert in concussion Dr. Kraeger has extensive experience with the proper diagnosis and treatment of high school age athletes who have sustained a concussive incident.
Dr. Kraeger received his medical degree from Des Moines University in Iowa, and completed his residency at Iowa Lutheran Hospital in Des Moines. He completed a sports medicine fellowship at the Hughston Clinic in Columbus, Georgia.
He spent two seasons as an athletic trainer and physical fitness coordinator for the Chicago White Sox. He is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine, and was a team physician for the Goodwill Games - Women's Gymnastics in 1990.
