Thomas O'Malley Jr., MD, MBA, is a board certified ophthalmologist who began his practice in Stevens Point in 1992. He specializes in comprehensive ophthalmology, cataract surgery, laser surgery for diabetes, and laser vision correction (LASEK) for nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism.
Dr. O'Malley Jr. received his medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - Rutgers Medical School and completed his residency at Wake Forest University Eye Center in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He received his Master of Business Administration degree in the Physician Executive MBA program from the University of Tennessee.
He uses his unique blend of training in medicine and business administration to design patient-focused systems of eye care which emphasize access, quality, and value.
